Welcome to WPG

Warrnambool Podiatry Group is setting the stage for creating more responsible and rounded healthcare professionals by being expansive in our thinking.

We are passionate about supporting the health of our podiatrists, our community, and our business in a way that is nuanced and balanced.

To dream big about better healthcare for all, we give our team permission to slow down and move from hustle to flow.

We believe in combining our technical skills, with compassion, and vulnerability to better understand the individual experiences of our clients.

By creating connections through translational relationships we aim to better understand the context behind our clients’ experiences to shape positive outcomes.

It’s the immeasurable qualities of being a human that we want to embed in our healthcare system not only for our clients but for our future podiatrists.

Our purpose is to leave healthcare in a better place

At Warrnambool Podiatry Group, we humanize the healthcare practitioners and those who work alongside them.

We empower our team to cultivate healthy practices within themselves, between team members, and within our wider community of clientele to build a sustainable healthcare culture.

Our vision is a world where healthcare is a healthy, supportive, and nourishing environment for all.

We promise to cultivate sustainable environments for our team to work within to best serve and support our clientele.

We cultivate care through layers of wellbeing

We are passionate about shifting healthcare into a new paradigm by considering the wellbeing of the healthcare ecosystem, and how this impacts our practitioners and our community of clients.

We see wellbeing through a systems lens where individual, team, and wider community health are inherently interconnected, always influencing each other.

We believe in building awareness of how a healthy culture is formed through how we relate and communicate, and how our bodies are central to this process.

ME | WE | US

We are intentional about how we show up in relationship

We are aware of the disengagement and drop-out rates within the podiatry profession and are taking action to provide our practitioners and new graduates with the support they need to thrive, not just survive.

We have co-created our own well-being mentoring program in a bid to support each individual on their path, whilst investing time, knowledge, and skill building into our team and client relationships.

Our program features both professional and personal development, influenced by positive psychology, mind-body awareness, conversational learning, and reflective practice.

We look forward to our quarterly 'cuddle' which is a time for us to come together as a group, explore new ideas and emerging themes, and strengthen our relationships.
